This series of paintings is an attempt to reflect what can best be described as a sort of artificial and expanded synesthestic experience, where the imagined realignment of sensory input becomes a jumping-off-point for the creative exploration of subjective experience.
Creating these paintings then becomes for the artist a personal process to tear down restrictive elements, in both his perception of reality and technically in the painting process, in a effort experience artistic transcendence.
